"The Space In Between" is a project aiming to bridge historical and contemporary narratives of queer love. It explores and acknowledges the modern loneliness experienced by queers.

This series is inspired by the photo book "LOVING: A Photographic History of Men in Love, 1850s-1950s" from the Nini-Treadwell Collection, with text by Paolo Maria Noseda.

This compilation of found images concealed queer love over a century and serves as a pivotal reference for my contemporary exploration.

As with everything I create, I draw from my own experience and heart. For the first time, I am in a position to tell this story—of me, my friends, and millions of queer folks worldwide.

The existence of queers resisting the gravity of loneliness drives this project’s heart. It’s about my passion to validate those who’ve felt what I’ve felt—as countless queers have throughout history.
